A/Prof Nick Williams, Dr Kate Lee and Dr Rachael Bathgate recently attended the Demonstration Green Roof Project launch, on behalf of our research team.
Also in attendance were the Victorian Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning, Melbourne Water, City of Melbourne, Aspect Studios, The Hon. Lily D’Ambrosio – Minister for Energy, Environment and Climate Change, and Cr Nicholas Reece – Chair of the City of Melbourne’s Planning portfolio.
Our team is conducting research on the new roof to assist in identifying the different types of plants and supporting elements that are needed for successful, thriving green roofs in Australian conditions.
