Last week, our research was featured in the Made Possible by Melbourne Growing Greener Cities campaign event at TEDxMelbourne.
In addition to the 12 tram stop installations being brought out of storage and re-greened, Green Infrastructure Research Group researchers worked with the Chancellery marketing team and their advertising creatives to develop a human sized living skyline, which formed a striking backdrop to the event.
Postcards promoting the Master of Urban Horticulture, Graduate Certificate in Green Infrastructure and Australian School of Urban Forestry were also distributed. Over 700 people attended the event, and more than 73 per cent interviewed said the exhibits improved their perception of the University’s research impact and contribution.
